Some agencies will charge an upfront fee to start planning your trip, but here at Getaway Vacations we do not charge you a planning fee to get your trip started!
We also do not charge any planning fees for packaged vacations! A packaged vacation is a cruise, an all-inclusive trip, or a pre-packaged tour/itinerary.
We do charge a fee when we have to build a custom itinerary from scratch. Because custom itineraries are way more involved, we reserve the right to charge up to a 10% fee on the total cost of the trip for this level of custom service. This fee is not charged to you until after you approve your custom itinerary and you are ready to book. If you have questions about what we consider a custom itinerary, please contact us!
For domestic trips (within the U.S.), we reserve the right to charge a fee for our services. Domestic travel has its unique set of challenges that require us to charge this fee. The fee can be up to 10% of the total cost of the trip. We will discuss the amount with you during the quoting process.
If you only need airfare booked and no other services, we charge a $50 per person fee to book your airfare for you.
